I’m listening, Engaging, In the practice of your speech. Analysing, In the art of how you preach. Waiting for my moment to say… I’ll wait, My turn. Having to recharge, I’ve had enough time around people, Give me a moment to listen to nothing, Enjoy my equanimity, Amongst their productivity. But I’ll sit here and listen, For a while, Take on your toll, Empathise with your woe. And then go, Back to my own space, Where I appreciate, The time, To navigate around all the over-thinking, I must get through, In just one night. There’s isn’t enough time, To deliberate, And concentrate, On where it all started, And why we’re all here, And what’s my importance.
